Sad News RIP Sparky

We have some very sad news to report that dear little Sparky had to be put to sleep a couple of weeks back. She was found in a very poor state one morning and was taken to a vet to have blood work drawn at a vet which showed that she was positive for FIV and FIP. The results further indicated that her kidneys were failing and she had several other health issues. The vet felt that it was kinder to alleviate her suffering.

This dear little cat was loved by hundreds of people - staff and visitors alike at the hotel where she lived and will be sorely missed.

In an island full of cats, she was many people's favourite cat - not many people, let alone cats can claim to have such a devoted international following! She was about 20 years old when she died - one of her many fans described her as "an angel full of character"...

We plan on getting a plaque erected at the front of the hotel that will simply say "Sparky lived here".
